In everyday English we say summer, monsoon (rainy season), autumn, winter and spring. The Indian calendar has six ritus, each about two months long:

The ritus follow the Hindu (lunar) months, so the English months are only approximate and change a little every year. The weather also differs from place to place — Himachal's winter is very different from Kerala's.
What do we do in each season?
- ☀️ Summer: hot days, mangoes, cold drinks, cotton clothes.
- 🌧️ Monsoon: rain, umbrellas, green fields, sowing rice.
- 🍂 Autumn: clear skies, festivals like Dussehra and Diwali.
- ❄️ Winter: fog, sweaters, warm food, snow in the hills.
- 🌸 Spring: flowers, new leaves; Basant Panchami welcomes it, and Holi.
