Number Line Jump · संख्या रेखा
Mendhak the frog 🐸 hops along the number line. Add, take away, skip count — tap where he lands!
What is a number line?
A number line is a straight line with numbers in order, the same distance apart. Numbers get bigger to the right and smaller to the left. It helps small children see adding and taking away.
Adding: 3 + 4 — start at 3 and make 4 jumps to the right. You land on 7, so 3 + 4 = 7.
Taking away: 9 − 4 — start at 9 and make 4 jumps to the left. You land on 5, so 9 − 4 = 5.
Skip counting: jump the same size every time — 5, 10, 15, 20… is counting in 5s.
