Longitude and time · देशांतर और समय
- 0° = Prime Meridian at Greenwich. Longitudes (meridians) go 180° east and west.
- Earth turns 360° in 24 h → 15° = 1 hour, 1° = 4 minutes. Places to the east are ahead.
- IST uses 82½° E: 82½ × 4 = 330 min → GMT + 5 h 30 min.
