Form: ax + by + c = 0 (a and b not both zero). Example: 2x + 3y = 12. It has infinitely many solutions — every point (x, y) on its straight-line graph.
- To find a solution, choose x, then work out y: x = 0 → 3y = 12 → y = 4, so (0, 4).
- Plot two or three solutions and join them — the graph is a straight line.
