Ohm's law · ओम का नियम
V = I × R — find voltage, current or resistance; then series and parallel.
Ohm's law games
Ohm's law
V = I × R — potential difference (volt, V) = current (ampere, A) × resistance (ohm, Ω), at constant temperature.
Turn it around: I = V ÷ R, R = V ÷ I. Cover the one you want in the triangle V over (I × R).
Resistors together
- Series: R = R₁ + R₂ + R₃ (same current through all).
- Parallel: 1/R = 1/R₁ + 1/R₂ + … (same voltage across all); for two: R = R₁R₂/(R₁ + R₂).
Power: P = VI = I²R = V²/R. Resistance R = ρL/A depends on the material (ρ), length and thickness.
For Class 10 (NCERT Science, Electricity) and the electricity chapters of Class 7–8. All numbers are computed by a program.
A one-page chart to stick on the wall, and a worksheet to practise.
