| Nutrition (पोषण) | Autotrophic (photosynthesis) or heterotrophic. Humans: mouth → stomach → small intestine (villi absorb) → large intestine. |
|---|---|
| Respiration (श्वसन) | Glucose → pyruvate; aerobic (mitochondria): CO₂ + water + lots of energy; anaerobic: ethanol + CO₂ (yeast) or lactic acid (muscles). Energy stored as ATP. |
| Transportation (परिवहन) | Heart (4 chambers), arteries, veins, capillaries; plants: xylem (water), phloem (food). |
| Excretion (उत्सर्जन) | Kidneys (nephrons) → ureters → bladder → urethra. Plants lose waste through leaves, bark, resins. |
