Parts we eat
- Roots: carrot, radish, beetroot
- Stem: potato (an underground stem), sugarcane
- Leaves: spinach (palak), cabbage, mint
- Flowers: cauliflower, broccoli
- Fruits: mango, apple, tomato
- Seeds: peas, rice, wheat, dal
A potato grows under the ground, but it is a stem, not a root — it has "eyes" that grow into new shoots.
The chart has the labelled diagram and what each part does. The worksheet has the diagram with blank labels and questions.
